The most important thing is to every day tell everyone around you that you love and care about them.

I remember the day I lost my mom, I keep thinking back to me not saying I loved her before I left, I didn't hug her or kiss her that day. It sucked, and I regret it every day. Thinking maybe if I told her I loved her that it would be different.

I know you don't want the sympathy but I'm sorry for your loss bro.

Thanks man. Worst part of this is that it dawned on me that I haven't talked to my dad for like 4 months. I think I should give him a call tomorrow.

And yes, we SHOULD be better at telling people that we care, I tell my best friend that I love her every day.. but I guess I'm not that good at telling other people around me that they are important.

I will always tell my friends I care about them, I don't care if it makes me seem gay or whatever haha. All my buddies we always say we love eachother.

And I haven't spoken to my dad in 10+ years, I wanna change that, but can't seem to find him, which sucks.

It's all good, my dad and I have never really gotten along, he's always been shitty, but he's all I got and I can't even find him now.

So I would highly recommend you get in touch with him haha

That's unfortunate.

My dad was just an ass, not a gear head, he left my mom when I was five and the last time I can remember seeing him I was like 10 or so.

Drinking played a big role in my family falling apart, so I know what that's like.
